 Sport First's Ben Davies and Jamie Clapham score great goals for Notts County

Ben Davies was on the scoresheet with a trademark free- kick as Notts County recorded an amazing 2-2 draw with Premiership outfit Wigan Athletic. Unbelievably, County found themselves 2-0 up at half time. But after the break, Wigan fought back to force a fascinating replay at Meadow Lane.
20/2/10 Amazingly, yet another Ben Davies free- kick , earned Notts County a point away to Aldershot. Bens’ trademark free – kicks are well known and he produced another special in injury time for goal number 9 of the season, to send the Magpies back to Nottingham with a 1-1 draw.

Jamie Clapham scored a rare winner for Notts County in their home win over Macclesfield. Jamie scored the winner, his 1st of the season, with a rare header in the 19th minute to give Notts the 1-0 win.
6/3/10 Ben Davies scored his 10th goal of the season in a comfortable 3-0 win over Accrington Stanley at Meadow Lane. Lee Hughes’ penalty was well saved by Dunbavin in the Stanley goal, but he couldn’t stop Davies’ headed rebound.

A stunning volley by Ben Davies, his 11th goal of the season, was enough to beat Notts County’s local rivals, Chesterfield, on Tuesday night. In a tough game, Bens’ strike proved to be the difference between two good teams to send County up into 4th place.
