Georgina Simpson
Gomersal

Georgina fell in love with the game when she saw her hero Sandy Lyle, win the US Masters in 1988. That passion led her through a very successful amateur career winning the 1993 English Girls Championship, the Daily Telegraph Junior Championship and then both the U-18 & U-21 Strokeplay Championships.
After attending University in America where she won the 2000 Desert Duel, Georgina turned professional in 2001.
Georgina has since enjoyed a number of top 10 finishes, most notably at the Tenerife ladies Open where she has finished inside the top 12 for 4 out of the past 5 years.
