Jonathan Trott
Warwickshire

Jonathon scored a record debut 245* for Warwickshire 2nd XI in 2000 at Knowle and Dorridge sharing in a stand of 397 with Trevor Penney. He then went on to score 248 V Worcestershire 2nd XI at Barnt Green in 2003 sharing record opening partnership with Ian Westwood of 429. In his championship debut against Sussex at Edgbaston in 2003 he scored century 134 and in two seasons he has made three centuries for Warwickshire. Jonathon became the first player to bat for the full twenty overs in Twenty20 cricket for 65* against Gloucestershire in 2003 and then reached his maiden first class five wicket return (7-39) against Kent at Canterbury in 2003. Jonathan enjoyed a successful 2005 season and was one of only two Warwickshire batsmen to score 1,000 first-class runs.
Fine domestic form in 2007 saw him selected for England's one-day squad to face West Indies - he played in both Twenty20 internationals - and won him a place in the provisional 30-man squad for the World Twenty20 competition in South Africa. Jonathan has also been called up for the England Performance Programme in the winter of 2007-08.
